Alexandre Family Farm Heavy Whipping Cream, A2, 40%, Pasture Raised, Organic 12oz

(This is NOT RAW CREAM-we're offering this organic A2 cream until our raw A2 cream is available again. Due to limited availability from this dairy, we get it in stock only several times a month. If it looks like the day you will receive it is closer to the "best by" date, we may freeze this product 5-7 days before the "best by" date to ensure you get a fresh product that you have time to use. The date it was frozen will be written on the lid next to the "best by" date. If you prefer to not have the possibility of it being frozen, please don't order this product. Thank you for your understanding.)

Info from Alexandre about their dairy and their cream:

Our Heavy Whipping Cream is 40% butterfat vs. the usual 35% of other whipping creams. We use a “low and slow” heating method. Our cool, coastal climate provides green grass 365 days a year – a constant source of nourishment for our unique blend of crossbred cows and our milk. The result is higher CLA and Omega 3 fatty acids for a healthier, creamier taste.

Our herd of cows only produces 100% A2/A2 organic milk: the digestible dairy. Over the past 2 decades we have been carefully cross-breeding our herd so our cows do not have the A1 protein that is linked to digestive issues. A2/A2 organic milk gives many people the freedom to enjoy real dairy again!

We farm on more than 4300 organic grass pastures on the northernmost coast of California where we grow grass 365 days a year. Our cows are grazing on this rich pasture for most of the year, except when they are sheltered indoors during the rainy season to protect them and our pastures. In the barns, the cows are still fed our harvested grasses.
